Public Access Overview

Public Access Overview

ZPortals allows you to create a public directory of a CRM module that is available to all of your website visitors (not only portal Users). It can solve for real estate agents that would like to show open properties, companies that sell products and services, a directory of personnel or any instance where a CRM module contains data that can be shared with anyone, publicly on their WordPress site without having to be a registered site user.

High level features are the ability to use the CRM module fields as filterable on the frontend, the gallery view for a thumbnail list of records and the ability to add external elements (including a custom button in the layout).

Select the module you would like to make public and hit "Update" at the bottom left:

The module is now available to customize. Copy the short code on to a new WordPress page and publish.

Define the permissions, whether to show attachments, the view settings and provide user filters:

Click into the "Layout" tab to modify the sections and fields:

Go to the WordPress menu and select "Add New Page" and then copy and paste the short code:

To remove access, simply delete the WordPress page and deselect the module in Public Access Settings - All Public Settings and select Update:
