Parent/Child, Multi-account and Contacts

The plugin supports Zoho CRM parent / child Account relationships as well as multi-account relationships within the Default Portal Type. This means that a Contact (User) can be directly associated to a Parent Account record in Zoho CRM and see related Child Account data in the plugin. Conversely, if a Contact is only related to a Child Account, they will not see Parent Account data and only see the directly associated Child Account.

ZPortals also supports a multi account association where a contact can be associated with several accounts that are unrelated to each other through the Parent / Child hierarchy. This can be accomplished using a multi-select lookup field on the Zoho CRM Contact layout.

      

Best practice is to analyze the Contact relationships in Zoho CRM first, ensure that the native Account lookup field is in use and add lookup fields on any additional Zoho CRM modules as a tie back to the Contact.
