Invite Users From CRM



Inviting a User from the CRM

Make sure the plugin extension is installed in Zoho’s marketplace, see here.


Once you have edited the invitation template and ensured that the workflow is turned on, use the button “Invite to Portal” to send the email invitation. The User will be able to click or copy and paste the invitation link into a browser and go through the steps of registering:

      

The tokenized URL will guide the user to the correct URL for registration, here is an example that is populated: https://yourwebsite.com/?ppage=sign-up&email=test%40.gmail.com&first_name=Test&last_name=Test

      

Once the User completes registration, they will be able to login to the portal. 


Note that when a User is invited from the button, the “Portal Invite Sent” field is updated on the Contact record in Zoho CRM which triggers the workflow installed.

When the User logs in to the portal, the CRM Contact record is updated with the Last Login Date as long as these fields are mapped in User Management - Settings 

You can also choose to disable our workflow and create your own using our email template and your own custom trigger.

  1. When a Contact gets created
  2. When a Contact of a specific type gets created
  3. When a Deal hits a specific stage
