Email Notifications Overview

Admins can modify the ZPortals email templates. There are certain merge tokens that should NOT be modified in the password reset email. Another consideration is to ensure that SMTP is configured on the site so that the email notifications do not go to spam or are not sent altogether. The mostly widely used email notification from ZPortals will be the "Password Reset Email Template" that is sent when a user selects the "Forgot Password?" link on the login page. 



 The rest of the email templates are sent during the User Registration process and a manual invite from the WordPress admin:
