General

You can personalize and custom the portal in Design Settings. There are many options out of the box- let's explore each below.

The first field in the General section is the "Portal Title". This will appear at the top right of the portal for the user.

The "Brand Name" will be the name inserted in email notifications. For example, when a user resets their password.

Toggling on "Show Company Logo" will bring in the Zoho CRM logo for the record. For Default Portal Types, this will be the picture on the Account record, for Contact based Portal Types, the picture on the Contact record and for the Vendor Portal Type, the Vendor image on the Zoho CRM record.

In the portal, the user sees the following:

In the CRM, Foltex USA's record:

The menu position for the user can be along the left or top. A portal width can be set (100% or 1380px is recommended). The scroll to the top toggle will an arrow for the user to quickly navigate to the top of the page.

The "User Portal UI" has two options, Old CSS and New CSS. The Old CSS option is relevant for any ZPortals plugin installed prior to release 4.0 after which a major revamp of CSS took place.

Choose Themes

The admin can select an overall Theme Color on the right. This color will show on the login and registration pages and throughout the portal when the user logs in:

Note that when New CSS is selected, themes 6 and 7 become available. These are responsive and mobile friendly.

The main differences between the various themes is the menu spacing and whether it's collapsible. Select your preference and hit "Save" at the bottom right.
