Configure Zoho Sign

There are two ways of integrating with ZPortals as of our 6.2 Release, March 2026.

Direct Zoho Sign API

This method features a direct electronic signature modal with PDF downloads, a document list, detail pages and reminders. Obtain the Zoho Sign Org ID by navigating to the portal:


Copy this value in to ZPortals - Portal Setup - Zoho Sign and Re-Authorize Zoho Sign:


The document generated directly in Zoho Sign will reflect in the portal:

Click into the eyeball icon to see document details and the "Sign" button to begin signing or decline:



Note* in order for the user to sign directly in the portal, the document will have to have been generated from a custom function or API that includes an embeddable output. 

Zoho Sign CRM Marketplace Extension

You can use our other method- to display Zoho Sign documents in ZPortals that are generated from the CRM. Make sure you have installed/integrated the Zoho Sign CRM marketplace extension. This integration creates a module of Signed Documents that is mapped to the Account and Contact:


In ZPortals - Portal Setup - Zoho Sign, select the checkbox and map the module, account and contact fields:


Head over to ZPortals - Customization - Portals Pages - Zoho Sign and enable the menu using the "Show in user portal" checkbox. Give it a custom menu name and icon along with a custom title/message at the top of the page, if desired:


Select the columns you would like to display in View Settings, a default sort and any applicable filter in the following sections:
